Japanese tailoring, shown in Florence
The SOSHIOTSUKI Autumn/Winter 2026 collection has arrived at Stactile. In January 2026, designer Soshi Otsuki held the brand's first runway show in Europe, in Florence, as guest designer of the 109th Pitti Immagine Uomo. The collection is titled "IN FLORENCE".
1. Bubble-era suits, taken to Italy
The starting point this season is the Italian tailoring that was popular in Japan during the bubble era. The collection looks at how that tailoring evolved in its own way inside Japan, and takes it back to Italy, where it came from. Double-breasted jackets with emphasized shoulders are at the center, in a calm palette of grey, camel and black.
2. Curling lapels and bias-cut shirts
Peaked lapels and shirt collar tips are given an artificial curl through pattern work and ironing. Oxford shirts are cut on the bias, which emphasizes the drape that appears when they are tucked in. The range of materials is another highlight: thick leather, heavy-wale corduroy, velvet and hand-knitted cable knit.
3. INSIDE LAPEL JACKET and DOUBLE INVERTED TUCK TROUSERS
Stactile stocks the "INSIDE LAPEL JACKET" and "DOUBLE INVERTED TUCK TROUSERS", which were paired in the first look of the show. Both are 100% wool and come in two colors, BLACK and DOBBY GREY. They work as a suit and are also easy to wear separately.
4. OILED LEATHER BLOUSON
The cow leather blouson is available in two colors, BLACK and CAMEL. In the show it appeared worn over a tailored jacket, and also with grey trousers.
5. MANICA CAMICIA DRESS SHIRT
"Manica camicia" combines the Italian words for "sleeve" and "shirt". This dress shirt has gathers at the shoulder point and a softly rounded, roomy armhole. It is available in three colors: PINK, SAXE and BEIGE.
